Lee Datura
I am a European-ancestored settler living and working as a somatic practitioner and as a biodynamic craniosacral therapist in private practice on the ancestral lands of the Tohono O’odham & Pascua Yaqui peoples, known today as Tucson, Arizona.
My professional path is one born from seed. I came to train in somatic psychology and craniosacral therapy to support more resilient individuals, communities and heal burnout for those fighting for change in our current paradigm.
I have over five years of experience working as a somatic coach & opened my private practice in 2019. I completed the three-year practitioner training through Organic Intelligence and studied under Steve Hoskinson, Moni Kuhel and Robin Craig.
I continue to study and grow in somatic healing modalities as well as facilitate workshops and politicized somatic trainings with the Sonoran Desert Somatic Collective to support others in learning these skills.
I completed the two-year Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist Certification Training in 2024 and studied under Hiraman Reynolds, Clara Cunningham and Ryan Hallford.
Ancestral lineage repair and animist psychology deeply inform my practice as well. Somatic awareness is more than a therapeutic tool; it is a way of connecting and seeing beyond the survival programming that is insidiously instilled through socialization under the current iterations of empire, white supremacy & colonization. In my private practice I centers folks with various backgrounds - in particular LGBTQA+ folks - seeking to come home to their human bodies, lineages, and desires.
My background carries the currents of many streams; that of frontlines organizer, community facilitator, grower and lover of plants & herbal medicines, and abolitionist.
Although I currently live and work in the city, I spent six years living off-grid in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the ancestral lands of the S’klallam and Chimacum peoples. Living in the forest and learning to engage with other-than-human life has deeply informed the way I engage with the world around me and the way I support folks in my private practice. We are nature, and coming home to our place in the natural world is foundational to our healing.
I was raised in a highly conservative, fundamentalist Christian sect & my work as an adult has been deeply informed by the practice of deconstructing and repairing internalized white supremacy, childhood trauma & the crossover of the two.
I believe fiercely that for any of us to be free we must all be free and that healing work is community care work; healthcare and wellness support must become accessible to all.

I am certified as an Organic Intelligence Coach and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner. I am not a clinically licensed therapist. Although sessions with me are therapeutic, they are oriented around nervous system regulation support and I do not work directly with mental health pathology nor do I diagnose or prescribe medications.
-
Unfortunately I am not licensed to take insurance although I do offer sliding scale pricing.

My full session fee is $135. I offer sliding scale for those who need it that starts at $80
